Region/Community: the World – those affected by climate change

Description: Our mission is to personalize climate change by traveling around the world to twelve different countries and telling the stories of people affected by global warming through the use of investigative journalism, an online campaign, and a documentary film. Our goal is to help our audience, mainly comprising viewers in developed nations, truly care about climate change by telling stories about people around the globe already affected by climate change. We will champion the heroes of this movement—the innovators, policy-makers, and social entrepreneurs not usually spotlighted in the battle against climate change.

From Nat: During the course of my involvement with environmental studies and the climate change movement I realized how this issue is in fact an umbrella concept touching the lives of everyone. I wanted to do something to help make people realize that their actions have an affect on someone else on the other side of the world.
