Deshpande Foundation 2010 Innovators' Challenge

Dec 8 by Mindy Phillips

The Deshpande Foundation challenges students to create solutions through social innovation and entrepreneurship for some of the top issues that NGOs face in the Sandbox region of Northwestern Karnataka, India.

If your project is one of the three winners of the Innovation Challenge, you will receive funding for your group to travel to the Sandbox during the summer of 2010 and implement the project. If the product shows promise of success, the Deshpande Foundation may choose to fund Innovators on a long-term basis.

How To Apply: Once you have selected a challenge, you must submit a proposal detailing the project that addresses the fundamentals of your innovation and how it will promote sustainable change for the NGO. All documents and questions should be submitted to the Deshpande Foundation at gep@deshpandefoundation.org by January 15, 2010 as an attachment in the following format: teamname.Innovators2010.
