change.org Change.org is Hiring Social Change
Career Guides

Are you passionate about helping people find a career that makes a difference?

Change.org is hiring a team of part-time career guides to provide daily advice to our more than one million monthly visitors about finding a career in social change – including nonprofit, social enterprise, political, and government jobs.

The guides will serve at the leading edge of one of the most important shifts in our culture and economy: the increasing interest in careers with a purpose. Despite this interest, it is still more difficult to find information about getting a job for good than a traditional for-profit job. We aim to change that.

Each career guide will provide advice on topics ranging from job searches and career paths to resume writing and interview tactics, delivered through a daily blog and interactive Q&A.

Pay is competitive, hours are flexible (expect 10 – 15 hours per week), and you can be located anywhere (and yes, you can even write in your pajamas if desired).

You don't need to have a formal background in career services for the position; if you're the type of person who friends go to for advice on finding a job in the social change sector, we want to hear from you. We also welcome applicants with niche expertise advising different demographics – including college students, MBA grads, mid-career professionals, career changers, and those searching for green, government, social enterprise, political, or traditional nonprofit jobs.

Change.org's team of career guides will work directly with Change.org's managing editor and join our growing network of 20 cause-based bloggers working every day to build the leading online hub for information about social issues and ways to take action.

To apply, send a brief introductory email and your resume (or a link to your Linkedin profile) addressed to Ben at jobs@change.org.
