Social Innovation Initiative
Information Session

Are you interested in getting involved in the Social Innovation Initiative? This information session will introduce the array of programs and opportunities for students who want to get involved in Social Entrepreneurship on campus - and resources to student-led initiatives and projects. We will be announcing details about plans for:

  • Lectures and Discussions with leading entrepreneurs
  • Social Entrepreneur's Network (SEN) Peer Critique sessions that offer feedback and advice for students trying to start or organize a project
  • Opportunities to get involved on a Research Team to support efforts by other students - for example, the Brown-Providence Microfinance Collaborative and the SII Grants Project
  • Boot Camp Workshops to develop and sharpen your skills for example, writing successful proposals, measuring and evaluating outcomes, financial literacy, marketing and branding, and strategic planning
  • Grants to support student led projects - Exploratory Grants up to $500 and Seed Funding Grants up to $3,500
