A prize of $2000 will be awarded to one or more college or university students involved in public service. The award is meant to enable the student to gain practical experience in public service by taking a no-pay or low-pay job or internship during a summer or other term. Preference will be given to applicants who have already found such a position, but who require additional funds.

The PresenTense Fellowship is an exclusive opportunity for individuals dedicated to solving problems facing the Jewish People and the World. The Fellowship program is founded in an intensive six-week bootcamp for social entrepreneurs in Jerusalem, Israel from June 15 - July 26, 2009—where fellows are trained in the practical skills of social start-up development and are helped by PresenTense and the PresenTense Network to launch their ventures into the world.
