The Social Innovation Initiative’s Seed Funding Enterprise (SFE) is a student-led endeavor that seeks to develop among students the principles of social entrepreneurship and innovation to drive social change. SFE utilizes a two-pronged approach by both providing students with the grants and resources necessary to realize their goals, and by incorporating students into the grant-giving process. Students interested in becoming involved with SFE would be responsible for working in teams to evaluate grant applications. Students can expect to conduct background research on social initiatives, interact with student social entrepreneurs, and critique grant proposals. Interested parties should contact BrownSFE@gmail.com for more information.
