1997 Royce Fellow wins Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical, starring as Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys
As a Royce Fellow, John worked with Professor Subotnik in the development of a new upper-level seminar in the Department of Music. The course, “Seminar in Music and Theater: American Musical Theater,” is dedicated to music with a theatrical aspect including opera, musical theater, and cabaret.
